Who Gets What ___2000-12-21 - 05:15:39

And now, for the long awaited "Who Gets WHAT!?"

Let's see . . .

My boyfriend gets . . . the frame and the angel for sure.

AMAR gets: silver snowflake candle holder (she gave me a dragonfly candle holder!)

MIMI gets: giftwrapped silver candle (actually, maybe I should switch these two . . . nah, it works)

ASIL gets: frog candle holder (notice a pattern here? ^_^)

And QUIN gets . . . uh oh. Initially, I was just going to get one or two of those stones for HER . . . but then I liked them all!

And what about AARON . . .

Okay, the process for deciding who gets which STONE begins!

Well, the store suggested either giving them/keeping them to remind the receiver to strive for this state/virtue. OR you can give them to people saying, "Hey, this is what I admire about you most!"

A. virtue and saying that goes with it

B. name who this IS

C. name who should HAVE this/needs this

1A. Love: "An inspired form of giving, love breathes life into the heart and brings grace to the soul."

B. my BF! ^_^ He's a giver, he might just be breaching the icy barrier surrounding my heart, and . . . my soul glows with a seemingly ethereal light when near him!

C. Ch! They all HAVE the capacity for love. But I, on the other hand . . .

2A. Traquility: "The peace that comes when energies are in harmony, relationships are in balance."

B. Quin is so . . . harmonious with her life.

C.

3A. Wisdom: "Knowledge, intuition and experience combine to guide us in thought and deed."

B. Amar (the advice giver), Asil(the brain), and Quin (all of the above)

C. Another "Ch!" We could ALL use MORE of this!

4A. Happiness(good fortune): "When one's spiritual needs are met by an untroubled inner life. Happiness comes when your work and words are of benefit to yourself and others."

B. Well, my friend Aaron has the happiness thing down, usually, but just recently he TOTALED his brand new car! (guess that leaves out the "good fortune" part, ne? ^_^)

C. When I ask myself, who among my friends most needs some happiness (other than my BF!), I see Mimi. And she could use a little "good fortune". *sigh* she's thinking about dropping out of school . . . and I wish there was something I could do to help her . . .

And then there's Asil, she and I aren't as close as we once were so . . . I should wish her happiness and luck, ne?

5A. Courage: "Not the absence of fear or despair, but the strength to conquer them."

B. Amar can do ANYthing! So can Aaron!

C. Hm, another thing Mimi could use . . .

6A. Peace: "To bring peace to the earth, strive to make your own life peaceful."

B. You know what, I DON'T like that description . . . but that word and Aaron. . .they just seem to go together, somehow.

C. I hope Aaron wouldn't take this as an offense, he has been known to get a little wired up about things . . . he drinks, CONSTANTLY thinks about sex (not that's EXACTLY a bad thing . . . but he did create my alter ego! ^_~ And, now, Duo no Tsuin is here to stay!)

Hm . . . *JeopardyTM music plays . . . and suddenly stops just before:*

Eureka! I've got it! . . . drum role, please! *drum role:commences

The stone of Love goes to . . . MY BF, ROBERT! *applause*

The stone of Tranquility goes to . . . QUIN, no da! *MORE applause*

The stone of Wisdom goes to . . . Amar! *STILL more applause*

The stone of Happiness(Good Fortune) goes to . . . Asil! *even MORE applause*

The stone of Courage goes to . . . Mimi! *LOUD applause*(is the ground shaking?)

And, finally, the stone of Peace goes to . . . Aaron! *THUNDEROUS applause* (ahhh!!! Will it EVER stop!?)

Silence.

*wipes forehead* Phew! I'm glad THAT's over! And now, the recap!

*starts, runs to look in her "magic bag(s)of goodies", and comes running back in a mad sweat*

Oh my God! That's IT!? And after the genuine 18krt gold 4-leaf-clovers she gave me!? AHHH!!! *facevaults as she remembers* I-for-got-to-pick-that-up. I even knew what I was going to give her! And I FORGOT it! BAKA!

*sigh*

Guess, I need to do some more shopping after all . . .
