ML- Temporary Disciplinary Leave of Absence ___2001-04-12 - 10:25 p.m.

It's been awhile since I've last posted, has it not? WHAT!? You've forgotten who I am!? lol Seriously, the void may grow even larger.

Quin, if you're reading this then you are already wondering; 1)where were you for jewelry? and 2)where were you for [orchestra]contest?

Well, I think it was Tuesday night when I asked my mom if I could go over to my boyfriend's house on Wednesday. And I remember her saying it was okay. Like I said, that's what I 'remember.'

So, thinking it was okay, I went to his house after school Wednesday. So, I hung out and waited for my mom to pick me up... and waited... and waited... and waited. 10 o'clock at night rolls around... and, needless to say, I was worried... and so was he. Well, to cut a long story short, I ended up staying over. *nods* Yes, you heard me right. I-stayed-over-at-a-boys-house. Was I wrong to do this? Most likely...

I won't go into the details of the "sleeping arrangements," but I'll reveal this much. I slept in his bed... and he went to sleep downstairs. Hn. As if my mom would believe THAT story. But it's true.

I probably shouldn't say this, but I just want to. WARNING!: Don't read the following paragraph if you don't want to know the TRUTH. He DID go downstairs to sleep... after trying to sleep on the floor... and then he came back upstairs. He was there simply to get more coverings to survive the night... and heard me crying. I was losing it during this whole episode. I thought that everyone didn't care about me. I felt abandoned and alone. So, being the kind of guy he is, he tried to appease my momentary distress by laying next to me and watching me until I fell asleep. But I was fragile, I was weak, and I was going to break.... so I held onto him tightly. Wednesday, 11:30pm. So tightly wrapped, we fell asleep in each other's arms... and woke up there as well the following morning.

His alarm went off, sure enough, but we never ACTUALLY woke up... not until 10:30 the following morning. We had intended to find SOME way to school after missing his bus... but we never did. The day went on, magically and self indulgently so, until 6pm.

6pm, I was supposed to be getting back from contest.

6pm, I called my dad.

6pm, I was supposed to be picked up... by my mom.

6pm, I knew that everything was wrong.

After a small spot of luck that I won't go into, I made it to the school.... and sadly closed the door to the car.

The ride home, I won't detail. But here's one key phrase that relates to you all, "You're grounded." Huh. First time I've ever heard those words directed at me. Yes, I said 'at.'

When I got home, another phrase just... well, honestly, it pissed me off. I was leaning between my computer and the phone to close the curtains when my mom said, "Don't tie up the phone line." *sigh* So, that means two things. 1) I'm not supposed to use the internet and 2)I'm not supposed to call my boyfriend.

So WHY, you ask, am I able to write/send this now!? Simple. My mom and dad don't live together anymore. I'm currently with my dad. And, simply, I just asked him if I could 'check' my mail. Surprisingly,to me, he actually said, "sure." Hn. Well whaddya know?

Anyway, the "perks" in life are to be reduced, and I'm guess that duration is indefinite... or at least until my mother says so.

Well, ja ne.... I hope.
